After the success at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, the Virtual Museum was hosted at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square.

About the event
At the request of the Egyptian authorities, the Virtual Museum was subsequently hosted at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square.
For the inauguration, the museum held an extraordinary evening opening. The event marked the first virtual exhibition in history hosted by the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East.
The ribbon was cut by Moamen Othman, Director of all Egyptian Museums; Ali Abdelahim, Director of the Egyptian Museum; Michele Quaroni, Italian Ambassador to Egypt; and Chiara Saulle, Italian Consul in Egypt.
