International Event and Exhibition of the Virtual Museum at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina

About the event
The inauguration of the Virtual Museum at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina followed the exhibitions at the NMEC and the Egyptian Museum, and was coordinated with the Honorary Consul of Italy, Mario de Pasquale.
In the theatre of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the tarantella and tahtib performance was reprised as the backdrop to the ribbon-cutting ceremony, accompanied by Egyptian and Italian folk songs and dances.
An exclusive video by Sergio Iovino on the cultural heritage of Alexandria was also presented, bringing together archaeological sites and historic buildings in a unique architectural and natural harmony.
